Wednesday, April 22, 2020 - Morning Weather Discussion

A tornado yesterday in Toms River, NJ and more rain tomorrow night and Friday and again Sunday and next Wednesday…

I posted a picture last night with the Evening Weather Discussion of the hail outside of Asbury Park, NJ. It turns out that there was also a tornado in Toms River, NJ at the same time. Click here to read the story and view the video of the water spout as the tornado went off the coast.

Today will be variably cloudy and quite nice with highs in the 40’s.

Tomorrow, clouds will increase with a chance of a shower during the day and then rain will develop at night as a strong disturbance approaches from the west. Highs will be in the mid 40’s to mid 50’s.

Friday there will be rain, ending at night, as the disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the upper 40’s to low 50’s.

Saturday is then looking mostly sunny with highs in the mid 50’s to low 60’s.

Sunday there will be rain, as another strong disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the mid 40s to low 50’s.

Monday and Tuesday are then looking nice with highs in the upper 40’s to mid 50’s Monday and the 50’s Tuesday.

Next Wednesday, April 29th, rain will be likely, as another disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the 50’s.

Next Thursday, April 30th, there will be a chance of showers as another disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the upper 40’s to mid 50’s.

Next Friday, May 1st through next Tuesday, May 5th, are then looking nice with highs in the 50’s next Friday and the mid 50’s to mid 60’s next Saturday through Tuesday.
