Friday, May 8, 2020 - Daily Weather Discussion

Cooler than normal through Tuesday and downright cold tomorrow with rain today and tonight and maybe even a few snowflakes…

Today a disturbance is approaching our area and will cause rain to develop from west to east, possibly mixing with snow in Northeastern PA at night. Highs will be in the mid 40’s to mid 50’s.

Tomorrow the rain will end early in the morning, with some snow possible in Northeastern PA, and possibly mixing with snow before ending in Northwestern NJ, Southeastern NY State, and in Fairfield County, CT, then it will be variably cloudy with a chance of a rain or snow shower sprinkle or flurry. It will be windy with gusts of up to 45 mph possible. Highs will be in the upper 30’s to mid 40’s.

Sunday clouds will increase in the afternoon with a chance of rain developing at night as a disturbance approaches from the west. Highs will be in the 50’s.

Monday there will be a chance of rain with highs in the upper 40’s and 50’s.

Tuesday and Wednesday will then be nice with highs in the upper 40’s to mid 50’s Tuesday and the 50’s Wednesday.

Thursday, clouds will increase with a chance of showers or thunderstorms developing at night as a disturbance approaches from the west. Highs will be in the mid 50’s to low 60’s.

Next Friday, May 15th, there will be a chance of showers or thunderstorms as a disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the mid 60’s to mid 70’s.

Next Saturday May 16th through next Monday, May 18th, will be variably cloudy with a chance of a shower or thunderstorm each day. Highs will be in the mid 60’s to low 70’s next Saturday, the 60’s next Sunday, and the mid to upper 60’s next Monday.

Next Tuesday, May 19th, through next Thursday, May 21st, will be variably cloudy with highs in the mid to upper 60’s next Tuesday, the mid 60’s to low 70’s next Wednesday, and the mid 60’s to mid 70’s next Thursday.
