Strong Thunderstorms Possible Tomorrow and then Continuing to Watch Isaias...

There is an increasing chance for strong thunderstorms in parts of our area tomorrow. Click here for the latest Convective Outlook from the National Weather Service Storm Prediction Center. You can also view the map below which shows part of our area listed as a slight risk for severe thunderstorms capable of producing tornadoes. Then we have to watch Hurricane Isaias which will approach the Florida Coast tomorrow, possibly making landfall there, or possibly coming very close, but either way, turning north after that and likely making landfall along the South Carolina Coast late Monday night or early Tuesday morning. Isaias will then pass through the Eastern Carolinas, Southeastern Virginia, the Delmarva, and then very close to the NJ Coast and Eastern Long Island late Tuesday into early Wednesday morning. This track will bring most of our area 1-3 inches of rain, with as much as 5 inches or more possible in some isolated locations.
