There was mid-level warming that moved into our area, which was not accurately predicted by the models, hence lower snowfall amounts than forecast as the snow changed to sleet. Snowfall amounts in most parts of our area ranged from around 6-12 inches, with higher amounts in Northeastern PA and parts of Orange County, NY, and amounts up to a staggering 44 inches in parts of New York State near Binghamton, NY.
