TODAY – cloudy, chance of a sprinkle this morning and rain developing this morning in East Central PA and Northwestern NJ, then rain developing this evening in Central and Northern NJ and Southeastern NY State, and tonight in NYC and on Long Island, becoming heavy at times, also becoming very windy, with gusts of up to 55 mph possible inland and up to 65 mph along the coast and on Long Island, highs in the 50’s to low 60’s

 

CHRISTMAS DAY – rain ending in the morning from west to east, then variably cloudy with a chance of a snow shower or flurry at night, highs early in the morning in the 50’s to low 60’s then dropping to the mid 30’s to mid 40’s in the afternoon

 

SATURDAY – variably cloudy, lows from the 30’s in East Central and Northeastern PA to the 40’s along Long Island, lows in the mid teens to mid 20’s, highs in the mid 20’s to low 30’s

 

SUNDAY – variably cloudy, lows in the upper teens to mid 20’s, highs in the mid to upper 30’s

 

MONDAY – variably cloudy, chance of a shower, lows in the mid 20’s to mid 30’s, highs in the 40’s to low 50’s

 

TUESDAY – variably cloudy, chance of a snow shower or flurry in the morning, lows in the 20’s to low 30’s, highs in the mid 20’s to mid 30’s

 

WEDNESDAY – variably cloudy, lows in the mid teens to mid 20’s, highs in the mid 30’s to low 40’s

 

NEW YEAR’S EVE – rain likely, possibly heavy at times, lows in the mid 20’s to mid 30’s, highs in the mid 40’s to low 50’s
