NEW YEAR’S EVE – rain ending this afternoon and evening from northwest to southeast, morning highs from the mid to upper 30’s in Northeastern PA to the upper 40’s along the NJ Coast and on Eastern Long Island, then falling

 

NEW YEAR’S DAY – increasing cloudiness, rain developing from southwest to northeast in the afternoon and evening, some freezing rain and a little snow possible in Northeastern PA, far Northwestern NJ, and in Orange County, NY, lows in the mid 20’s to low 30’s, highs from the mid 30’s in Northeastern PA to the mid 40’s along the NJ Coast

 

SATURDAY – rain ending in the morning and early afternoon form southwest to northeast, lows in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s, highs in the mid 40’s to mid 50’s

 

SUNDAY – rain developing from southwest to northeast in the morning, possibly mixed with snow inland, and snow is possible in Northeastern PA, Northwestern NJ, in Southeastern NY State, and in Northern Fairfield County, CT, lows in the upper 20’s and 30’s, highs in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s

 

MONDAY – variably cloudy, chance of a flurry, lows in the low to mid 30’s, highs in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s

 

TUESDAY – variably cloudy, chance of a snow shower or flurry, lows in the mid 20’s to mid 30’s, highs in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s

 

WEDNESDAY – mostly sunny, lows in the upper 20’s to mid 30’s, highs in the upper 30’s to mid 40’s

 

NEXT THURSDAY –  increasing cloudiness, chance of rain or snow developing at night, lows in the mid 20’s to mid 30’s, highs in the upper 30’s to mid 40’s
