TODAY – snow developing this afternoon and early evening from southwest to northeast, and a mixture of rain, sleet, and snow likely in East Central NJ (especially near the coast), and on Eastern Long Island, becoming heavy at night, becoming windy tonight, with gusts of up to 50 mph possible inland and up to 65 mph possible along the coast and on Long Island, highs from the mid 20’s in Northeastern PA to the lows 40’s along the Central NJ Coast

 

TOMORROW – snow in the morning and any mixture along the coast and on Eastern Long Island changing to snow, and then ending in the afternoon from southwest to northeast, windy in the morning with gusts of up to 55 mph possible inland and up to 65 mph along the coast and on Long Island, lows from the low 20’s in Northeastern PA to the mid 30’s along the NJ Coast, highs in the upper 20’s to mid 30’s

1-6 inches:  Central NJ Coast from south to north

 

2-14 inches:  inland Central NJ from south to north

 

8-16 inches: Eastern Long Island

 

10-18 inches:  East Central PA, NYC, and Long Island

 

12-20 inches:  Northeastern NJ

 

12-24 inches:  Northwestern NJ

 

14-24 inches:  Rockland, Westchester, and Putnam Counties in NY State and Fairfield County, CT

 

15-30 inches with localized amounts to 35 inches possible:  Northeastern PA and Orange County, NY


FRIDAY – variably cloudy, lows in the teens to mid 20’s, highs in the mid 20’s to low 30’s


SATURDAY – mostly sunny, lows from the mid single digits in some inland location to the low 20’s along the NJ Coast, highs in the low to mid 30’s


SUNDAY – variably cloudy, lows in the mid 20’s to low 30’s, highs in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s


MONDAY – variably cloudy, chance of a snow shower at night, lows in the mid 20’s to low 30’s, highs in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s


TUESDAY – variably cloudy, chance of a snow shower in the morning, lows in the low to mid 30’s, highs in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s
