Friday, February 12, 2021 - Daily Weather Discussion

A very unsettled weather pattern will continue for the next week…

A stationary front has developed near our area and disturbances will develop every day or two and then pass through our area, bringing several chances for snow, sleet, freezing rain, and rain.

Today will be variably cloudy with highs in the mid 20’s.

Tomorrow, clouds will increase with light snow, sleet, freezing rain, and rain, developing at night as a weak disturbance approaches our area. Highs will be in the mid to upper 20’s.

Sunday the light snow, sleet, freezing rain, and rain will end in the morning, then will develop again at night as one weak disturbance departs and another approaches. Highs will be in the low to mid 30’s.

Monday, the light snow, sleet, freezing rain, and rain will end in the evening, as the disturbance departs our area. Highs will be in the mid 20’s to mid 30’s.

Tuesday, there will be snow, sleet, freezing rain, and rain, ending at night as a strong disturbance will pass through our area. Highs will range from the upper 20’s to low 30’s in Northeastern PA to the upper 30’s to low 40’s in East Central NJ.

Wednesday we will probably have a nice day finally with highs in the low to mid 30’s.

Thursday, another strong disturbance will approach our area, bringing more snow, sleet, freezing rain, and rain. Highs will be in the mid 20’s to mid 30’s.

Next Friday, February 19th, there will be snow, sleet, freezing rain, and rain, ending in the afternoon or evening as the disturbance departs our area. Highs will be in the upper 20’s and 30’s.

Next Saturday, February 20th, through next Thursday, February 25th, are then looking nice as the stationary front may finally break down. Highs will rise from the mid 20’s to mid 30’s next Saturday, to the 30’s next Sunday, the mid 30’s to low 40’s next Monday, and the upper 30’s to low 40’s next Tuesday and Wednesday, then drop back a bit to the mid 30’s to mid 40’s next Thursday.
