The Nor'easter is only now starting to develop as the strong disturbance is finally reaching the coast. The storm will explosively develop now and throw moisture back into our entire area, causing very heavy precipitation (mainly snow, although there could be some sleet and freezing rain south of about Rt. 80 and east of about Rt. 287 in Northern NJ. So, if the snow did not yet get heavy in your area, it will very soon and will stay like that throughout the daylight hours, before lightening up tonight and ending tomorrow morning.
We remain on track for snowfall accumulations of 1-2 feet and up to 3 feet possible in some locations.
