FLOODING MAY BECOME A SERIOUS PROBLEM AS WELL AS THE POTENTIAL FOR POWER OUTAGES...

The latest data is showing the heavy rain coming back right about now and lasting into tomorrow morning, with additional rainfall amounts of up to about 5 inches possible in parts of our area, which could lead to severe flooding in some places.

In addition, winds may become gusty tomorrow as Henri departs our area, with gusts of up to 40 mph or so possible. If the winds do gust this high it will likely lead to power outages in parts of our area as the ground will be very soft from the extensive rainfall, leading to trees becoming uprooted.

Below is the latest maximum wind gust map. The maximum winds in eastern sections are occurring right now and this afternoon, and the maximum winds in western sections will occur tomorrow as Henri departs our area. Click on the image to enlarge.

Have a fantastic day!
