The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a
* Tornado Watch for portions of
Delaware
Eastern Maryland
New Jersey
Southeast Pennsylvania
Coastal Waters
* Effective this Wednesday afternoon and evening from 1240 PM
until 1000 PM EDT.
* Primary threats include...
A few tornadoes likely with a couple intense tornadoes possible
Scattered damaging winds likely with isolated significant gusts
to 75 mph possible
SUMMARY...Discrete lower-topped supercells developing across eastern
Virginia will spread east-northeast as a broader cluster into this
evening. Tornadoes and damaging winds are expected.
The tornado watch area is approximately along and 60 statute miles
north and south of a line from 25 miles east southeast of Trenton NJ
to 40 miles west southwest of Wilmington DE. For a complete

REMEMBER...A Tornado Watch means conditions are favorable for
tornadoes and severe thunderstorms in and close to the watch
area. Persons in these areas should be on the lookout for
threatening weather conditions and listen for later statements
and possible warnings.
