TODAY – variably cloudy, chance of a shower or sprinkle, highs from the mid 50’s in Northeastern PA to the mid 60’s in Central NJ


TOMORROW – mostly cloudy, chance of some light snow in East Central and Northeastern PA, chance of a flurry or snow shower elsewhere, lows in the upper teens to upper 20’s, highs in the upper 20’s to mid 30’s


FRIDAY – snow developing from around midnight in Eastern PA, to around 3 am in Fairfield County, CT, and on Eastern Long Island, except rain likely in Southern NJ and Freezing rain likely in Southeastern PA, ending between around noon in Eastern PA to around 3 pm on Eastern Long Island, snow changing to freezing rain and sleet in East Central PA, most of Northern NJ, parts of Southeastern NY State, NYC, and on Western Long Island, and mixing sleet throughout our area, excluding East Central and Southern NJ where it will be mostly rain, and in Southeastern PA where the freezing rain will change directly to rain, lows in the mid 20’s to mid 30’s, highs from the low to mid 30’s in far Northeastern PA, Southeastern NY State, and Fairfield County, CT, to the mid 40’s in East Central NJ

 

Total possible snowfall accumulation:

 

Trace to an inch or two:  Northern portions of Southeastern PA (roughly just north of Philadelphia), Central NJ

 

2-4 inches possible:  roughly from Rt. 78 northward to Rt. 80  in Eastern PA and Northern NJ, NYC, and on Long Island

 

4-6 inches possible:  Southern Portions of Northeastern PA, Southern portions of Northwestern NJ, Northeastern NJ (north of Rt. 80), Rockland and Westchester Counties in NY State, and Southern Fairfield County, CT

 

6-8 inches possible:  Northern portions of Northeastern PA, northern portions of Northwestern NJ, Orange and Putnam Counties in NY State, and Northern Fairfield County, CT

 

Significant icing possible: Southeastern and East Central PA, Southern portions of Northeastern PA, West Central and Northern NJ, Rockland and Westchester Counties in NY State, NYC, and in Southern Fairfield County, CT


SATURDAY – mostly sunny, lows in the teens to low 20’s, highs in the upper 20’s to mid 30’s


SUNDAY – variably cloudy, lows in the mid teens to mid 20’s, highs in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s


MONDAYvariably cloudy, lows in the teens to low 20’s, highs in the upper 20’s to mid 30’s


TUESDAY – variably cloudy, lows in the teens to low 20’s, except the mid 20’s along the coast and on Long island, highs in the upper 30’s and 40’s
