Significant Ice and Snow Likely in Much of Our Area Friday Morning...

Chances are increasing for a significant accumulation of snow and ice in our area, likely excluding East Central and Southern NJ.

Heavy snow will be likely in Northeastern PA, far Northern NJ, Southeastern NY State, and in Fairfield County, CT, with a mixture of snow, sleet, and freezing rain in East Central PA, the rest of Northern and West Central NJ, NYC, and on Long Island, and freezing rain likely in Southeastern PA.

The precipitation will start around or shortly after midnight Friday morning in most of our area, but in the early morning on Eastern Long Island, and will end around mid day, or in the early afternoon from west to east.

More early tomorrow morning...

Have a wonderful evening!
