Heavy rain and strong wind will bring flooding and power outages to our area tonight into tomorrow morning...
A strong disturbance has developed along the East Coast and will continue northward up the East Coast, bringing very heavy rain and strong winds to our area. There will be flooding with widespread 3-4 inch rainfall amounts, and some isolated amounts over 5 inches possible. There will also be very strong winds in coastal locations with gusts up to 60 mph possible near the coast and up to 70 mph possible on Eastern Long Island.

The rain will end tomorrow afternoon and early evening, and then it will be nice through. Christmas Day, followed by a chance for next Tuesday, December 26th and Wednesday, December 27th, and a chance for rain or snow next Thursday, December 28th.
