The rain/snow line is going to go right through our area tomorrow afternoon into Sunday, with heavy snow in parts of our area and just rain in other parts of our area...
Well, as is often the case, the rain/snow line will run right through our area. This storm has been trending north and west all week, but that trend may have ended as the models seem to be settling on the rain/snow line running southwest to northeast through Southeastern PA, West Central and Northeastern NJ, Southern Westchester County, NY, and Coastal Fairfield County, CT. Northwest of this line snowfall amounts will increase rapidly to probably close to 10 inches in the highest elevations of Northeastern PA, Northwestern NJ, and Orange County, NY.

Trace to an inch or two: Southeastern PA, Mercer, far Southern Hunterdon, Southern Somerset, Southern Union, Hudson, and far Southeastern Bergen County in NJ, NYC, and Long Island
2-4 inches: Northwestern Sections of Southeastern PA, Central Hunterdon County, Central Somerset County, Northern Union, Eastern Essex, Southeastern Passaic, Most of Southeastern Bergen County, in NJ, much of Central Westchester County, NY, and Coastal Fairfield County, CT
4-6 inches: Southern sections of East Central PA, Southern Warren, Northern Hunterdon, Northern Somerset, far Southeastern Morris County, Western Essex, Central Passaic, and Central Bergen County, NJ, Southeastern Rockland and Central Westchester Counties in NY, and Central Fairfield County, CT
6-8 inches: Northern sections of East Central PA, Central and Northern Warren County, the rest of Morris County, and Northwestern Bergen County in NJ, Northwestern Rockland, Northern Westchester and Putnam Counties in NY, and Northern Fairfield County, CT.
6-10 inches: Northeastern PA, Orange and Northern Passaic Counties in NJ, and Orange County in NY
