The latest European model says that I was right all along
and now has this storm as entirely snow for ALL of Northern New Jersey, right
up to New York City, and possibly even into New York City. My estimated
snowfall forecast is 3-6 inches for ALL of Northern New Jersey, with the lower
amounts as you head east to the outskirts of New York City where it may take a
little while longer for it to start accumulating, however keep in mind that the
entire storm is now forecast to be snow, excluding possibly the first few
minutes when it could briefly start as rain, but it will quickly change to snow
if it does. The temperatures will
start out in the middle to upper 30’s but quickly drop to the lower 30’s after
the precipitation starts and remain there all night, possibly even dropping to
the upper 20’s in the colder locations. The start time is around mid-day on Wednesday and the end time is in the early morning hours on Thursday, prior to sunrise.
