Quick Update
Currently the difference between the operational run of the American model and the operational run of the European model is laughable. The American model pushes the storm out to sea and brings us exactly 0.00 inches of precipitation. The European model brings the center of the storm right up along the New Jersey coast, giving us 2.30 inches of rain (which would translate to nearly 2 feet of snow if it were snow) with the snow back over central and eastern Pennsylvania, with just a bit of a mix over our area, mostly over Northwestern sections. Incredible. The storm will start in the afternoon on Tuesday and continue until the afternoon on Wednesday. Let me just say that I totally don't trust the American model as the American model's own ensemble mean totally disagrees with it, bringing us 1.25 inches of precipitation. So, it definitely looks like we will get a pre-Thanksgiving storm, but right now it looks like mostly rain in our area. Check back for updates though just in case. The storm is still a long way away and only a 100-mile shift east with this storm would put us in the snow. And of course, if by any chance the operational run of the American model is right we won't get anything.
