The models trended about 10 miles further west with the storm this afternoon, intensifying the storm to levels that I have only seen surpassed by Superstorm Sandy. This increases snowfall amounts on Tuesday night across Northern New Jersey to 2-5 inches from west to east, with about 6 inches in New York City, 3-9 inches for Central New Jersey from west to east, and 6-12 inches from west to east for Long Island. It shows winds gusting 40-50 mph in Northern New Jersey on Wednesday morning, 50-60 mph for eastern Long Island, and 60-80 mph for southeastern Massachusetts, with winds of 80-100 mph about 75 miles east of Cape Cod on Wednesday.
