Wednesday Night into Thursday Morning Storm

The European model ensemble mean agrees with the operational run of the model.

So does the British model.

Therefore, a significant snowstorm is more likely for Wednesday night into Thursday morning.

These types of situations are very tricky and are prone to busts as the cold front can move a little bit and change everything, but my guess is that this will continue to trend a bit stronger as we get closer in time. As I said, the models would get better data today when the storm reached the coast, and the models are starting to zone in on this one.

My early guess would be that we are looking at the potential of a 3-6 inch type storm on Wednesday night into Thursday, but again, any small changes can make this go away, or possibly become even bigger.

I will start working on an early post of my evening weather discussion now.

Check back a bit later.
