Projected snowfall amounts increase…
The latest and most reliable data I have, has just increased snowfall amounts in parts of our area for both tomorrow morning and Tuesday night.
New snowfall projections are as follows for tomorrow morning:
Coating possible – New York City
Coating to an inch - Northeastern NJ, Southern Rockland and Westchester Counties in NY, and in Southern Fairfield County, CT
1-2 inches – East Central PA, Northwestern NJ, Orange, Putnam, Northern Rockland and Northern Westchester Counties in NY
1-3 inches – Northeastern PA
And for Tuesday night into Wednesday morning:
Coating to an inch possible – Northeastern NJ, Southern Rockland and Southern Westchester Counties in NY, and Southern Fairfield County, CT
1-2 inches possible – East Central PA, extreme Western Bergen County, NJ, Northern Rockland and Westchester Counties in NY, and Northern Fairfield County, CT
1-3 inches possible – Putnam County, NY
1-4 inches possible – Northwestern NJ and Orange County, NY
2-6 inches possible – Northeastern PA
And then we must keep a close eye on Thursday as a strong cold front will approach, bringing another chance for some rain and snow in parts of our area, with the same areas likely affected again.
