We will have a chance of some showers tonight and tomorrow as the remnants of Harvey pass through our area. Highs will be in the 60’s to low 70’s tomorrow. Rainfall amounts should range from a half of an inch to an inch and a half.
Monday will then be nice with highs in the mid 70’s to low 80’s.
Tuesday through Thursday morning will be cloudy with a chance of showers or thunderstorms as moisture from the Gulf of Mexico streams into our area ahead of a slow-moving cold front. There could be flooding in some locations as rainfall amounts will likely range from 1-4 inches. Highs will range from the mid to upper 70’s in Northeastern PA to the mid to upper 80’s in Central and Northeastern NJ and NYC Tuesday, the upper 60’s and 70’s Wednesday, and the 60’s to low 70’s Thursday.
Friday will then be variably cloudy with a slight chance of a shower or thunderstorm with highs in the mid 60’s to low 70’s.
Next weekend Hurricane Irma will be approaching the Bahamas and then will likely start to turn north and head up the East Coast of the United States. Hurricane Irma may be a category 4 or 5 storm at that time. Luckily, at the moment, the most likely track appears to be one that would keep Irma off shore, without any landfall on the United States. Hopefully that holds…

In our area, next Saturday and Sunday look nice with highs in the 60’s to low 70’s next Saturday and the upper 60’s to mid 70’s next Sunday.
Next Monday we will have increasing cloudiness as Hurricane Irma approaches our area. Highs will be in the 60’s.
Next Tuesday through Thursday then look cloudy with a chance of a shower or thunderstorm as Irma should pass by to our east and then a cold front will pass through from the west. Highs will be in the low to mid 70’s next Tuesday, and the 70’s next Wednesday and Thursday.
Next Friday then looks nice with highs in the 70’s.
Have a wonderful evening!
