TODAY – increasing cloudiness, rain developing in the afternoon and evening, becoming heavy at times late at night, also becoming windy late at night, highs in the mid to upper 40’s

TOMORROW – rain, heavy at times in the morning, and into the afternoon on Long Island and in Fairfield County, CT, then variably cloudy with a chance of a shower, some flooding is likely with rainfall amounts of 1-4 inches, also, very windy early in the morning, with gusts of up to 60 mph possible, lows in the mid 40’s to mid 50’s, highs in the mid 50’s to low 60’s

SATURDAY – variably cloudy, lows from the mid 30’s to low 40’s, highs early in the morning in the upper 40’s to mid 50’s, then dropping to the mid 30’s to low 40’s during the day

SUNDAY – mostly sunny, lows in the 20’s to low 30’s, highs in the mid 30’s to low 40’s

CHRISTMAS EVE – chance of light snow or snow showers early in the morning, followed by clearing, some light snowfall accumulation is possible, then slight chance of a snow shower or flurry at night, lows in the upper 20’s to mid 30’s, highs in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s

CHRISTMAS DAY – increasing cloudiness in the afternoon, chance of a bit of light snow or snow showers at night, lows in the 20’s, highs in the 30’s

WEDNESDAY – chance of a bit of light snow or snow showers early in the morning, followed by clearing, lows in the upper teens and 20’s, highs in the 30’s

NEXT THURSDAY – mostly sunny, lows in the mid teens to mid 20’s, highs in the mid to upper 30’s
