increasing cloudiness in the morning, snow developing between about 3 pm in the
Allentown and Scranton, PA areas and 8 pm on Eastern Long island, changing to
sleet, freezing rain, and then rain in the evening in Central NJ, NYC, and on
Long Island, and at night in East Central PA, most of Northern NJ, Rockland and
Westchester Counties in NY, and in Southern Fairfield County, CT, the
precipitation will be heavy at times, lows in the 20’s, with some low 30’s
possible along the NJ Coast, highs in the 30’s, with some low 40’s along the NJ
Coast
SUNDAY – a
mixture of snow, sleet, freezing rain, and possibly rain in Northeastern PA,
rain or freezing rain and sleet possible in East Central PA, Northern NJ,
Southeastern NY State, and in Fairfield County, CT, and rain in Central NJ,
NYC, and on Long Island, the precipitation will be heavy at times early in the
morning, ending in the late morning and afternoon from west to east across our
area, possibly changing back to a bit of snow, sleet, and freezing rain before
ending through our area, there could be some flooding in the areas that receive
all rain, with 1.5-2.5 inches of rain likely in those locations, it will also
be windy with gusts of 30-50 mph possible, lows ranging from the mid 20’s to
low 30’s in Northeastern PA to the mid to upper 40’s in East Central NJ, highs in
the morning in the low to mid 30’s in Northeastern PA, far Northwestern NJ, Orange
and Putnam Counties in NY and in Northern Fairfield County, CT, the mid 30’s in
East Central PA, the rest of Northwestern NJ, Rockland and Northern Westchester
County in NY, and Southern Fairfield County, CT, the mid to upper 30’s in
Northern Hunterdon, Northern Somerset, Northeastern NJ, and Southern
Westchester County, NY, the 40’s in Southern Hunterdon, Southern Somerset, Northern
Middlesex, and New York City, the low 50’s on Long Island, and the low to mid
50’s in Central NJ
