Saturday, November 23, 2019 - Evening Weather Discussion

A rainy Sunday but a nice Thanksgiving and Black Friday, followed by more rain next Sunday…

Rain will start tonight from southwest to northeast, ending tomorrow evening from southwest to northeast as a disturbance approaches and then rapidly intensifies over our area. Total rainfall amounts should range from .75-1.5 inches throughout most of our area. Winds will gust 25-45 mph. Highs will be in the morning and will range from the mid to upper 30’s in Northeastern PA to the mid 50’s along the NJ Coast and on Long Island.

Monday and Tuesday will then be nice with highs in the mid 40’s to mid 50’s Monday and the mid to upper 50’s Tuesday.

Wednesday will be variably cloudy with a chance of a shower in the afternoon as a disturbance passes well north of our area. Highs will be in the upper 40’s to mid 50’s.

Thanksgiving and Black Friday will then be nice with highs in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s Thanksgiving and in the mid 30’s to low 40’s Black Friday.

Next Saturday, November 30th, clouds will increase as a disturbance approaches from the west. Highs will be in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s.

Next Sunday, December 1st, there will be a chance of rain as a disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s.

Next Monday, December 2nd, there will be a chance of rain ending in the morning, followed by clearing, as the disturbance departs our area. Highs will be in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s.

Next Tuesday, December 3rd, through next Friday, December 6th, are then looking nice with highs in the 30’s to low 40’s next Tuesday, and the mid 30’s to low 40’s next Wednesday through Friday.
