TODAY – snow developing around 11 am in the Allentown and Scranton PA areas, around 12:30 pm in Edison, Morristown, and Vernon, NJ, around 1 pm in NYC, around 2 pm in Fairfield County, CT, and around 3 pm on Eastern Long Island, changing to rain about 7:30 pm in Allentown, PA, Trenton and Edison, NJ, about 8:30 pm in Stroudsburg, PA, Morristown, NJ, and NYC, about 9:30 PM in Middletown, NY and Islip, Long Island, and about 10 pm in Northwestern Fairfield County, CT, and on Eastern Long Island, highs  will be at midnight and will be in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s

Coating to an inch:  Coastal NJ

1-2  inches:  Eastern Long Island

1-4 inches:  inland Central NJ, NYC, Western Long Island

3-6 inches:  East Central PA, Northeastern NJ, Southern Westchester County, NY

4-6 inches:  Northeastern PA, Northwestern NJ, Southern Fairfield County, CT

5-7 inches:  Southeastern NY State (excluding Southern Westchester County, NY), and Northern Fairfield County, CT

TOMORROW – rain changing back to light snow and flurries in most locations early in the morning before ending later in the morning, then variably cloudy with a chance of a snow shower or flurry at night, temperatures early in the morning, in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s, dropping to the mid 20’s to mid 30’s by afternoon
