CHRISTMAS EVE – rain developing in the morning in East Central and Northeastern PA, in the afternoon and evening in Central and Northern NJ, NYC, Southeastern NY State, and Fairfield County, CT, and on Long Island at night, becoming heavy at times, becoming very windy at night with gusts up to 55 mph possible, lows from the low 30’s in Northwestern PA to the mid 40’salogn the coast and on Long Island, highs in the 50’s to low 60's

CHRISTMAS DAY – rain ending from west to east, chance of a snow shower or flurry in Northeastern PA at night, very windy early in the morning with gusts up to 55 mph possible, and up to 65 mph along the coast and on Long Island, subsiding after sunrise, except a few hours later on Long Island, , lows from the mid to upper 30’s in East Central and Northeastern PA to the low to mid 50’s on Long Island, highs early in the morning in the mid 50’s to low 60’s, then dropping rapidly to the mid 30’s to low 50’s in the afternoon

SATURDAY – mostly sunny, lows in the mid teens to mid 20’s, highs in the mid 20’s to mid 30’s

SUNDAY – mostly sunny, lows in the upper teens to mid 20’s, highs in the mid to upper 30’s

MONDAY – variably cloudy, chance of a shower, lows from the mid 20’s to the mid 30’s, highs in the 40’s

TUESDAY – variably cloudy, lows in the upper 20’s and 30’s, highs in the 30’s to low 40’s

NEXT WEDNESDAY – mostly sunny, lows in the mid teens to mid 20’s, highs in the low to mid 30’s
